I started doing that a few years ago and now can't even handle a ton of sugar in things. Love that result! :)Andrea (Off Her Cork)https://www.blogger.com/profile/11682850071304289431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2743655253913703801.post-48743455402418896772010-02-17T16:13:10.080-08:002010-02-17T16:13:10.080-08:00Thanks, Andrea.

It is so sweet without sugar!

Also, I didn't mean to imply that shelled peanuts have added sugar. I don't know about that, but all of the canned/jar peanuts that were more than just plain dry roasted had added sugars.

Kilax-Gelatin?! You've got to be kidding! I wonder what the reason is for adding that....My Year Withouthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17290085498074393110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2743655253913703801.post-52254197849152621332010-02-17T14:57:35.084-08:002010-02-17T14:57:35.084-08:00A few weeks ago I picked up a can of peanuts witho...A few weeks ago I picked up a can of peanuts without looking at them. When we got to the aisle, I joked that we should read them to make sue they didn't have meat in them, then I saw a list of 6 ingredients and said hell no and put them back.

We went to another store and looked around - most of the peanuts had sugar, except the cocktail ones and the plain ones. One can even had gelatin added. I knew sugar was added to peanut butter, but not shelled peanuts.
